Cowboys and farmers make good neighbors.
They don’t trust each other,
but it’s mutual.
Come at things from different
minds.
One says dust
the other
dirt.
You see - one dreams
the other works.

Place don’t matter without both.
It isn’t just about clods or cows.
Everyone needs a purpose
and a motive.
You can’t raise a family
on hay or sunflowers.
No, their ain’t life
without struggle
pain
death and rebirth.
Farmers can’t fix the broken
without cowboy
reminders
of reasons to keep trying.
